Charity Visit for a suitable time their brothers and sisters in need or in difficulty (the sick, the imprisoned, the elderly living alone, the handicapped, etc.), as if making a pilgrimage to Christ present in them (Mt 25:34-36). The three theological virtues in Catholicism are faith, hope, and charity. Charity is the virtue by which we love God above all things for His own sake, and our neighbor as ourselves for the love of God. Through charity we can be fulfilled in a world where so little is fulfilling. Through charity we can create good and valuable things that go far beyond us. |
