Rosaries.com has created an “Introduction To The Rosary” lesson plan for children that you may find beneficial for your Religious Education/RCIA programs, or parents who wish to teach their children how to pray the Rosary at home. The lesson plan includes videos, handouts, and a PowerPoint presentation. Please watch this brief four minute video introducing this lesson plan.

This lesson plan is designed to be completed in one Catechism/Religious Education class period.
This “Introduction To The Rosary Lesson Plan" has three components:
1. Show to your class, this 5 minute “Introduction To The Rosary” video provided here.
  - Video Introduction to the Rosary for children's classes
2. Lead the students in a brief overview of the video and the handouts provided here.
  - Handouts for children's classes
  - 15 Promises of the Rosary (children's handout)
3. Pray the Rosary together with your class while simultaneously showing this PowerPoint presentation which leads the class bead by bead with the correct Rosary prayers in the correct order, and matches the handouts they are given.
